Not in many years, but I've had some serious bouts with clinical depression when I was younger. I also had post-partum depression after my twins were born. I think that lasted a shorter time but was much, much worse!

I did from when I was around 9-10 ish until 16 (current). I haven't had symptoms in months, though my chronic anxiety acts up on occasion.

I was both a stress management trainer and Reality Therapist and use many techniques to insure that I don't again become depressed.

I've had friends that did, though- tough time to get them to recognize it, then get it treated.
    Lost One to depression
No matter what goes on in this world, whom ever I disagree with or what not- I'd never wish this on anyone, as I have seen the affects of it.

I used to. There's nothing like good old inositol (a supplement) Magnesium Citrate and staying away from lactose and gluten for weeks. It will all go away if you do that, and maybe take herbal baths. Amen.

1 person above said they just get it in the Winter time mainly. If that's true for you, it's called Seasonal Affective Disorder and is somewhat different from a depression. "Anybody that sees this note and gets it mainly during Winter, why, look up Seasonal Affective Disorder or S.A.D."
