My husband wanted to eat a week-old piece of pumpkin pie -- yuck! I toss anything leftover after 2 days (I missed the pie.) I made him some peanut butter brownies instead! :)

I don't know how people keep turkey that long. Personally if it's not finished within 3 days I toss it.

Leftovers are great... for a couple of days...

still have one batch of Thanksgiving Turkey Soup left in the freezer. My dad loves it ... more to come as we're having another turkey for Christmas as well ;-}

My leftovers were gone by Black Friday night XD and I'm pretty sure my household gained 10 lbs from it...It was so worth it though.

Missed the point haha... Thanksgiving was over a week ago now, poster was essentially asking if people really still had food from that long ago or if they eat food that's been saved that long.

Pies. And the defatted juice from the bottom of the roaster. I save it to make sooooup, mmmm, makes EVERYTHING taste like nirvana, um, like turkey. I had to go out and buy two smoked turkey legs to get more!

Heard of one dude calling the company who makes Butterball turkeys about using one he had in the freezer for 30 years, was told to ditch it.
Maybe it should be compared to the Twinkie another person kept for the same time.

I make to-go boxes. I save some for myself and send the rest off with my guests. My fiance is military so every year we have a few of his single buddies away from home over for dinner. They are more than willing to take ALL the leftovers home, guess the dining facilities have a lot to be desired on base.

the only thing left is some sliced ham for sandwiches and the ham bone with meat attached to make split pea soup in a week or two.
