Well, it depends on what you call spoiled. If putting clothes on them and giving them a mini dog mansion, then no. If letting them sleep inside the house by your bed, spending hundreds of dollars on their health protection and sometimes feeding them human food, then yes. Why not? A dog's life is short. Might as well let them live it happy.

We don't dress our dogs but they live a good life and are part of the family more like furry people than an animal that you disregard. Love isn't spoiling it's filling your heart with added joy which they do every moment of every day.

I have a bird that I barely pay attention to. I feel sorry for the little guy.

I don't see the reason to put clothes or shoes on my dog or my cat.
When I see people in store with dogs like that, i just squint my eyes and say "Really!!!"

Yeah, i see people all the time with their pets either they are dressing them, buying expensive dog/cat food, giving them the best dog/cat plates, entering them in dog shows or cat shows whatever, giving them the best dog/cat beds and grooming them and making them look pretty. I live California, I know what spoiling your pet is.

Oh, I know it is! Just hadn't ever put words to it before. :O)
My dogs have never missed an opportunity to be right there
with me, just to enjoy each other's company in the moment.

I think it's Life's biggest tragedy that our animal friends live
    such accelerated, short lives.

Unless you're hanging out with box turtles or turkey buzzards,
    I mean. :O\

Speaking of turkeys, do have a Happy Thanksgiving.

    Friends, family, black-and-white cat... I hope it's a time
of joy and renewal for all.
