....REMINDS ME TO START SOME SERIOUS SPRING CLEANING, AND TO MAKE SOME DONATIONS. I KEEP THINKING I'LL LOSE WEIGHT AND GET BACK INTO THOSE THINGS THAT DON'T FIT PRESENTLY.
Why not? You can get some great deals at them, especially Habitat for Humanity's Restore. At least there they'll deal w/ you unlike Salvation Army store where prices are fixed.
It's just not smart NOT to. Especially when you're just moving out of your parents house, going to college, or any other time you have a strict budget.
...Yep...all the time...Got me this cool George Foremen Grill for just $3 , has 1,000watts power. Will probably cook a steak to medium rare in like 3-5 min!....Can't wait to try it!....
When I was a kid there was nothing more embarassing then having to go with my mom in a thirft store or yard sale. Today my kids love to go junking as I call it. It is the coolest thing to see if you can get a good deal on something. Of course they go to the rich parts of town to do it.
I'm in LOVE with vintage clothes, the thriff store around my house has alot of them, not only that i like mix matching clothes together creating my own look
I've got some really cool stuff from charity and second hand shops in the past. They can be great for clothes (that I usually modify), and anything else - like interesting glass containers for terrariums, books, super cheap videos, various things for DIY projects..
I got an amazing leather coat that goes down to below my knees at a second hand shop, once. I wear it all the time, it's my favourite coat. It was £5 (new, or from a different shop, those kind of coats cost anything from £20 to well over £100).
Well not any more. I used to shop at them back in the 80's when they had great stuff from the 40's & 50's.
Today I wouldn't DARE to shop at these stores for fear of bedbugs.
there's never a decent amount of men's clothing
