Yes and no. I rave as many answers as possible, even disagreeable ones and I respond to select responses.

Usually, if there's something I either want/need to respond to, got out of the habit of being courteous.

But if it'd just be a thanks for responding!" I normally leave it at a rave, for fear of being perceived as a "point/level whore". (My image doesn’t concern me, but I tend to be less then polite when I respond to such unjust claims.)

One time I had someone copying and pasting the same rant to me ~5 times, because I was supposedly commenting too much, and obviously just wanted the points. I thought I was just being polite.
