Do You Really Like Vegan Food?

Despite it being tasty, like many others cuisines, vegan food probably isn't your dad's favorite.

HAHAJK.COM reports:
No matter how hard he tries and your mom attempts to work it in to the weekly meal routine, your dad says he just can’t get on board with this vegan sh*t, sources say.

After months of sneaking soy meat into his breakfast, lunch and dinners, your mother says she is ready to give up because your father has made up his mind that he doesn’t like “fake beef”.

“I ain’t no goddamn rabbit,” you father says. “If I want to eat carrots, I am going to eat vegetables, I am going to eat carrots.”

Despite his complaints he is unable to tell sometimes that he is eating a tempe beef product and only after he is told he overreacts and tries to make himself throw-up. “I ain’t no hippie and I fought in war to make sure I have the right to eat whatever I want. And I want beef!”

While it is unclear which wars your father actually fought in, he remains adamant about his dislike of vegan food choices and continues to cite his love for America and real beef every chance he gets. Your mom says she will now just make vegan choices for her self and your father and his colon can both go to hell.

love america real beef chance mom vegan choices father colon

You can have delicious vegan food, but diversity is important, and the best is to eat of everything, with moderation. If meat has to be replaced, cheese, other milk products, eggs or fish and seafood are an alternative to go with vegetables. They say that some typical Mediterranean dishes are good for health.

Wow this too good, well.....I EAT MEAT!!!

Meat, meat, meat. all that vegan stuff is terrible, you can't eat anything meat, or dairy, meaning no milk, butter, cheese, mayonnaise, popcorn (with butter) you can't use any animal based products like soap, glue, the list goes on.

    Scaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

If you're a liberal or pagan, especially a liberal progressive you have to like it. MOST people like meat or animal food bi products. You only live once and my grandparents lived healthy lives well into their 90's. Why suffer eating that 'green" crap all the time, not to mention the outrageous cost. YUK!

If you cook it right with proper spices, it can be delicious. Case in point, Indian style cooking (if you like it) and Chinese vegetarian.

I am not currently a vegan but I have been there and the food is good.
We are omnivorous so don't be so damn hard on someone who chooses not to eat meat.

Well, considering vegan food includes all non-animal products, it can appeal to a pretty wide range of tastes. I know a ton of meat-eaters who really like vegan food. In fact, most meat-eaters I know enjoy some sort of vegetable on their plate.

Tofu is just a base for other spices and sauces to cook it in. By itself, I agree it is tasteless. Properly cooked, you won't even know it is tofu. It is a rich source of protein and very low in fat. Just in case you are having a second thought and would try it in a Chinese dish.

That should qualify for vegan food. Tofu is vegan food for Asians originally. I grew up eating tofu, without it I would have died of starvation as meat was rare and expensive when I was growing up. I am an omnivore right now and eat very little meat and chicken. I prefer veggies and beans and yes, tofu that keeps me healthy with a good cholesterol ratio (unintentional side benefits).

Soy is known as the 7th “Know No”. Most of the soy that is on the market is actually very hard on our systems. It takes a strange individual to eat a sponge filled with soy.

Making vegan food to "appear" like real food is like putting perfume on a turd and expecting it to smell better.

Tofu is good...it is just cheese made from beans.
Do you drink soy milk, liquified tofu.

In reality...humans should not be eating meat. not because.I care (which i don't) for what we're killing and eating and ."oh the poor animals" but because it's killing us....literally.

humans eating meat care killing eating poor animals killing literally

you are partially right, we are meant to eat less meat then we do, but our digestive tracts are too short to support a purely vegetable diet, and too long to deal with to0 much meat. we are meant to be omnivorous though.

really, then why is our digestive tract so much shorter then any other herbivore out there? yet in approximation fits in with other natural omnivores. Also, herbivore eyes are side set to watch for predators while grazing, yet omni's and carni's have forward set eyes for better 3D vision necessary for hunting. On another note, without modern assistance it is difficult to keep enough protein available in our diet to support our large brains, which is why eating meat and our brain development went hand in hand in our evolution. While I will give you we eat far more then we should in this day and age (tribes probably actually only had meat 1-3 times a week if lucky) An absence of meat in our diet would have prevented our evolution to our present station on this planet. For good or for ill depending on your perspective.

Vegan food DOES NOT have to consist solely of disgusting analog meats! I'm not a vegan, but I do a lot of vegan cooking, that even my very omnivorous brother and dad will eat.
