- jcadla 2012/08/03 20:35:19no+2I guess I got burned out from selling them in front of the San Francisco Market in Modesto when I was a kid...I hated yelling, "Modesto Bee Paper,"...as if there was another paper in town...'duh' but I liked the money,-about 35 cents on a good day...that was enough money to ride the bus to town and back, go to the Strand Theater and buy a bag of popcorn and a cherry coke-and have a nickle left... Yay!reply

Naturally I do not believe everything just because it is print. I turn to the Editorial Page first and then the OP. I often write letter for the OP page and they print quite a few. Getting news from the internet is just not the samereply
