I don't send friend requests and I don't look at the profiles of people who friend me. There's no way to know if any of that information is the truth, so I don't see the point of wasting my time looking at it. I'll find out what kind of person they are by reading their posts and comments, not from what they've put on their profile.

I generally don't ask to be friends... but I get a lot of requests. I always hit the profile before saying yes.

I've never asked anyone yet, but if I did, I wouldn't look at their profile, it would be based on my interaction with them on posts. Profiles can be easily made up and faked.

I don't look at their profiles to accept a friend request extended to me either. It's not like they are really going to be my friend.

I have never sent a friend request, however I look at anyone's profile who request to be my friend.
I will accept them even if we don't share the same opinions, but if their post are dirty, or ridiculous I will decline. I have noticed that those people ask everyone to be friends, so they won't be disappointed if I decline.

Yes for the first day on here, then who cares when your only a number for them.
Ive never had to block any of them because they dont communicate like a real friend.
I answer their questions & they dont reply.

I don't just add people, Im selective with my friends. It's mostly based on their comments. I might add them and talk to them. If I lost interest I just delete them.

I usually ask or accept them after we have had some exchanges on a subject. I have friends from different sides of the political aisle and the reason I do is because we have discussed an issue without name calling and other foolishness. There seems to be common ground for respect so I don't need to know any more.

Even though I have friends who totally don't agree with one thing I think, I will usually see if that person is worth being friends with. We don't have to agree to be friends, but dang, I don't want them to make me nuts either.
