- Freedom 2012/07/03 21:26:50yes+2Bananas will not go bad faster in the refrigerator, that is a myth that was created by the jingle for Chiquita bananas. Most likley so your bananas go bad faster, thus causing you to purchase more! It never made any sense at all since bananas are refrigerated on their way here from South America.reply
- FencerCat 2012/07/03 19:07:14yes+2I know, everyone tells me they'll turn black faster that way, but I like bananas cold... and they don't usually last long enought to turn black.reply

+2So I won't. I have never even thought about putting bananas in the fridge.reply - Andy Fl... Jimbo 2012/07/03 15:43:24
+2I don't like them cold anyway though. I have a fairly discriminating pallet and taste subtle differences in foods. Cold just changes the flavor profile of a banana too much for me. Then again, bananas are another one they managed to hybridize the flavor out of anyway.reply - Jimbo Andy Fl... 2012/07/03 15:46:15
+1I don't eat a lot of bananas. My kids love them. I really like the little red ones but they're hard to find.reply - Kashee 2012/07/03 15:32:08no+3I've never refrigerated them, but I have frozen them without the peel.reply
