"Curvy" can't be contrasted with "skinny". You can have a flat stomach and a small waist with bigger breasts and hips. People consider it "impossible" not because it doesn't happen, but because it is determined by genetics and out of your control.
That being said, all sizes and shapes are beautiful, and preferred by different people...

I'm a straight girl but if I find slimmer girls more attractive. I like bigger boobs on a chick but I'm not a fan of a huge butt or hips. My lesbian crush is Alizee so this the body type I like best I think:
