Do you pray? If so, when your prayers come true, is it as a result of your praying or just coincidence?

When I was growing up, I must admit that I prayed only when I wanted something for myself - a particular toy for my birthday, and later good grades on the test, that a specific boy would like me. As an adult, the prayers branched out to others - that my unborn babies be healthy, that a friend who was ill would get will - and yes, even praying for peace on earth.
You don't have to be religious to pray. While people involved in Christianity and Judaism pray, Buddhists and Hindus meditate and in Scientology we "postulate" (which is similar to positive thinking). All of this can be likened to praying.
Do you pray? If so, when your prayers came to fruition was it as a result of your praying or just a coincidence?

It has worked for me.
