My wife and I both have to work. She serving those who want to be waited on. Me I get to take care of those who over celebrate and need to get help at the local ER.

Staying home makes more sense. Less likely to see fireworks on the highway from gridlock.

I'm probably gonna relax once I get home, maybe have a wine cooler, and hopefully a grilled meat. Steak would be awesome, but so would a hamburger.

Husband and son have to be at work the next day. We won't even be able to do fireworks since they have to be up extra early on the 5th. My daughter and I will watch the fireworks on tv... again.

No I am an average American who not only can't afford to leave town but has to work on that day as well! You people need to get a little reality!

Becasue you have a crappy job that makes you work on the 4th don't get upset with everyone that has off.

I am not mad at that. I am mad that the liberal propaganda rag assume that because they have enough money to leave town that everyone else does too! My crappy job was in contract negotiations when the ewebamacare bill was being pushed and we lost benefits and raises!

Heck no! do you know how expensive it is to get the hell out of town. I live on long island ny, and it's tough just finding a place to stay in the city to watch the fireworks. Imagine booking a flight across country? I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.
