    those things are my BANE!
    (HATE manual can-openers .. I never have been able to use them without pain .. )

    (this is why I have an ELECTRIC Can opener!)

    I still got one in the drawer, but haven't used it for over a year now. Most things I use to use it on now come in a pop open can or plastic bag, so don't need it anymore.

    These new Cambles "Go" Soups are sooooooo good tasting, and you can microwave them in the bag they come in, then eat the soup right out of the bag.

    I've never had any luck with electric can openers so I stick to the manual ones.

    Ha, I still got the p-38 they issued me with sea rations in Vietnam, from the 1970's, and your right, it still opens stuff razor sharp.
    Imagine that, the one good thing the government made that actually lasted decades, Lol.
    That and my Purple Heart, it hasn't started to rust yet either, Lol, Lol.

    Yes a very cheap one my wife keeps buying these little cheapy ones and when I use them I wind up crushing them in my hands, (I was a Block mason for twenty years)

    never know when the electric is gonna go out. besides, the missus prefers it to the 'lectric one.
