to see what i was being preached. Im a Christian i believe in god but i dont live by a book. So i guess im a poor excuse for one.

Yes because my church gave all the kids in the church bibles, and I rely on it to prove to my mom that what's in there is false.

Well i guess your right but shes used to it my brother and my dad argue about religion every month or so. i dont disbelieve in religion i just see a lot of problems with the book thats written about it.

That's a little backward. The Bible was not written about religion, religions were created by man based on their interpretation of what was in the Bible.

Ya but I mean I believe in religion and god but the bible has lots of errors that modern science has proved wrong and I'm a huge science girl. I believe what I hear in church I just don't believe what I read in the bible

Digital copy of the bible and most of the other major religious text. Learning about other peoples beliefs help me understand the view of the world from their perspective.

p.s. i would love some Norse textbooks but can't find anything that goes into extreme detail. if anyone knows about some then mail me :P

Just look for copies of the prose and poetic eddas and look up Asatru Asatru sites always have links to sites where you can find info or just ask an Asatruar there are at least four or five of us on SH.

I have read it in 4 different versions including the original Vulgate version in Latin when I was young. It is a very good work of fictional literature and epic poetry. After reading it and studying religions and reading other works of religious literature from around the world I saw no treason to keep a version.

I did have one a few years ago from Leavenworth Penitentiary that a friend gave me but the ex kept that with a lot of other possessions after the divorce
