there have been a couple times I wish I had it, too. A posiumn found his way in here
and decided the kitchen was a perfect place. The other morning he was back again, this time he was streched out watching television with the ole man. Once he was spotted, he ran.

Ick! Opossums are nasty. Used to have a lot of problems with them when I lived in California. We would trap them and call animal control and they would come and get them and relocate them to the local canyons.

FILM and Digital SLR Cameras ..
as well as some very old FILM Cameras (and Movie Cameras) too ..
I've enjoyed photography as a Hobby for a few decades ..
EACH one .. I choose for a particular reason when I went out to shoot ..
(the older the camera .. the FINER, more artistic the final image .. is what I've usually noticed)

Both. If I want to take like, pro photos, I'll use the camera or my uncle's DSLR but if I'm just out and I see something that I want to capture, I use my phone. It has fantastic quality anyway so I don't feel like I'm missing out.

I have five cameras, two DSLR, one weather proof camera, one basic P&S; and one point and shoot with accessories. Don't ever use a phone to take pictures, although the newer ones with 5mp are a lot better.

i have a digital one, a canon rebel xti and my phone. i use each one for a different reason. my digital for normal everyday ones, my canon for special or specific ones where i want to lug it around and my phone for ones to send people or for concerts or whatever

I use all three...phone for being in the right place at the right time, digital for taking photos of my foster dogs, ponies, farm babies and other fun stuff, and 35mm for spectacular sunsets,, posed pictures and such.

I understand that Blackberries, Iphones and samsung galaxys are expensive because they are engineered with high quality camera photo technology, what's the point in buying or walking with a camera when you have your smartphone anyway. still take good pictures, no difference.

I always have my digital camera with me because I like taking pictures.
My cell is an old one that doesn't have pic capability.

Funnily enough I was at a friend's wedding yesterday so I took my good camera.

I took over 2,500 photos! Can you imagine being able to do that with an old film stock camera!

That is one of the reasons I like digital. I also like that you can delete pics that don't come out good, and just upload them to my computer so no box of photos sitting around collecting dust. Well I actually have a box of those but they are pics from many years ago.

That's true! I just set it to sport mode so I could hold the shutter release down and get a burst of shots... confetti flying, champagne spraying, even a cat wondering across the bride's train!

I know a lot are rubbish or repeats but if only 5% are any good that still over 100 I can give to them when they get back home!
