Are you tweeting away or messaging your Facebook friends when watching a movie? Well, according to a recent Pew Study, an increasing amount of teens certainly are. A recent poll from The Hollywood Reporter found that "80 percent of TV viewers like to browse Facebook while they watch their favorite shows. The poll also found that young people (ages 18-34) would like to use social media while they are watching movies in theaters, if given the choice."

HUFFINGTONPOST.COM reports:
According to a recent Pew Study, the number of teens who text is increasing, as is the number of texts sent per day. Given this, it's probably not the most OMG-worthy news to most young people that a recent poll from The Hollywood Reporter found that 80 percent of TV viewers like to browse Facebook while they watch their favorite shows.

I once gave a popcorn shower to a group of America' s future leaders from the constant cell phone usage in the theater. Amazngly, once I stated the obvious they turned them off and eventually just left, it was a soft thinking type movie, not a Transformers noise and destruction movie..

BTW, where do these kids get the money to waste on $20 a head movies they often do not watch or even stay for?

I simply do not because it is very distracting and rude. Even though some may think their being discreet their wrong. The light from your phone device can be seen even from the front row.

First of all, I almost never go. I'll wait and see the movie at home. Unless it's VERY good and in 3D.

You don't spend $50 for tickets, popcorn, drinks and candy to attend a movie just to link up with friends. Not intending to make light of it, but illuminate your cell phone screen toward others trying to watch an entertaining movie in some circles is a death wish on the verge of being granted.

I went to see "2016" and I texted Obama all the bad things they were saying about him so he could do something about it. Obama has several snitch websites that you can report people to. One of them is called AttackWatch and you can report everybody to Obama.

HELL NO! When I go to the movies I HAVE one thing and one thing only to enjoy the movie depending on which movie I'm watching. That time is for me to just relax for a few minutes or so. No stress, no drama or BS none of that.
