If their corrections seem reasonable and I was actually wrong, I don't mind. If their corrections are stupid and the person is obviously trying to get on my nerves, then I do mind.

I'm usually the one doing the correcting, and I tend to catch my own mistakes. But if anyone else ever corrects me, I get kinda ticked! They just didn't give me time to correct myself. Be more patient people!!!

I actually welcome it, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have factual evidence to back up your correction.

Now having said that, I hate it when people try to correct my OPINION based on said evidence. Leave that up to me please.

For example... if I say "I think the sky is pretty because it's yellow"

A welcome response would be "Actually the sky is not yellow it's usually blue and some other colors occasionally and here are some photos that show the sky...."

An unwelcome response would be "No, the sky isn't pretty because it's actually blue. So learn about the sky before commenting on it"

Not if they do it in a spirit of helpfulness, instead of pettiness or self-righteousness.

That depends on where, when and how it's done. In public in a very "I'm right and you're wrong" way, no, I don't think anyone appreciates that.

Depends on who is doing the correcting and how they go about it. Just like there are some people that I wouldn't feel comfortable correcting and there are others that I know don't mind it - and I am tactful when I do correct someone.

hahah lol - not defined well ? how can it be the virtue of conservative ? ITS HUMAN QUALITY AND INTROSPECTION / RETROSPECTION IS FAIRLY GOOD .

We go with past history recorded in our mind , however, with pace of time things get altered and needed to view in pragmatic manner . Our vision therefore should be wide open - not confined to any dogma
