Do you make friends with rude people?

sure why not if there not to rude I mean I try to get along with them and who knows maybe they'll learn something hehe well I love to make friends rude or not, its good to think positive and I can be polite if I wanna be just don't make me mad you don't wanna get on my bad side other than that we should get along great! :)

Yep. I kind of enjoy off the wall types of people.

I try to be cordial and polite to every single person that I meet, whether they are kind or rude, but I stop it there with rude, hateful people. I will be nice to a rude person, but I have no interest in making any attempt to really make them a friend of mine.

If they're really rude then no. if they're usually a decent person, but slip up sometimes, then I don't really mind.

Depends on what they do that's rude. If they just have one or two bad habits, they're still basically a good person, so if I like being around them, yeah, we can be friends. But if they're unbearable or just plain mean, well, I'll be nice to them, but I don't think I'll start up a friendship.

I try to be friendly with even rude people, but none of the few persons whom I came to call friend were rude. I can always hope that rude people will introspect and improve.

No never. But when I was in highschool girls would befriend each other all the time even after hating them at first. But the nice girls get walked on. Or on my old campus the RA (the lady who orders the whole floor) was mean and yet everyone kissed her butt and tried to relate to her. Sometimes people only respect people who they fear. My old therapist that was being rude to me and yelling at me (my first day having her) I poured all my feelings out about personal things, she got pissed and stood up for him when I blamed my dad for somethings (yea stood up for him not knowing him and what he does what so ever). And yelled at me when I didnt look at her. Its like she thought that if she got pissed at me im going to some how be her friend, or like her. NO, I dont talk to mean people.. So I skipped out on months going back to her and when I did I switched therapist. Now I never ever give out too much real personal information (I do sometimes on the internet but who cares).

Not deliberately I don't. If I find a person to be rude and/or mean after friendship starts, I will make a decision.

Rude as in off colour jokes yes, rude as in disrespectful of other people never.

No, I am fortunate where I live that the vast majority of people are polite compared to where I used to live. I am as a rule polite to others, and it follows that those I choose to be my friends would behave likewise.

i'll be friends with anyone as long as we can actually talk. i just hope some of my politeness rubs off on them :)
