I am now a single mother and moved (with my daughter) to an apartment. About five years ago, I went into teaching, which was a fairly large drop in pay. I love teaching and don't regret the decision at all, but money wise it's kind of rough. I can get through each month, but not with any surplus. Although, I'm very careful and blessed with a daughter that doesn't ask for a lot of materialistic things. I've never been that into money, so I don't have a problem with watching every penny. It is very difficult in the summer as there are two months without a paycheck. Hopefully, I can find a decent summer job.

No I own my own business.....so if I need money...I just go get it....some people can live quite well paycheck to paycheck...not me....I travel to much....have to go over seas way to much to be worried where my next dollar is going to be....but to answer...no I do not...

I live on a budget, unlike our government. I know how much I can spend each month and don't go over that limit. In fact I make sure I have a few dollars left over for an emergency fund.

  • Drebi Mike 2013/01/03 23:21:57

Haha, I like to do work that pays. :p

I've done factory work, office work, maintenance work, etc. I prefer to work with animals, but I know better than to be picky in this economy.
  • Mike Drebi 2013/01/08 03:18:40

Then what you need to do is find out how many jobs exist working with animals.....there's vets, assistants, pet stores, testings on animals....but find what it is your passionate about and do it.....because if your trying to find a job because of money you'll never succeed in it....you'll hate life.....and you'll be miserable.....I started my own company cause I got tired of dept heads taking credit for what I did...now I took those ideas ...and made it a multi million dollar company worldwide.....and honestly even when I was starting out....I Loved what I did..!!..even in the first two years when I was barely breaking even....It was a joy to work on it...cause it was my passion.!....I have positions available Drebi...left open by people that didn't want to work.....oh they said they did....but when it came down to it they wanted to make that fast $1,000 really fast....and true wealth is grown...not given instantly....if you like to work in marketing to nightlife industries I can help you....haha...lots of people say the nightlife is full of wild animals...haha.....but I do hope you can find a job that deals with animals........real ones for your sake...haha

No we never spent beyond our means, if we could not afford something we did not buy it. I retired at 55 everything paid for. We don't live fancy, we live cautious.
