We visit Washington D.C. often to visit our daughter and her family. I go to New York quite often to work with our son. Our last vacation trip was to Paris for 10 days. We flew out of Knoxville to Atlanta and on to Paris on May 1, 2011. While we were in flight, the killing of Osama Bin Laden was announced. We found out when we landed at the Charles DeGaulle Airport in Paris and the TV monitors were filled with the news!
I was actually planning to say yes but my computer did something else. I do like to travel. I do not like to fly. I used to not mind flying, but it has become such an utterly collossal pain the the posterior that I'd much rather drive if it is at all possible. I'd take a freighter to Hawaii if I could.
I have been travelling since I was 18 years old been through Europe and southern , westcoast of the U. S. my next venture will be the east and northwest.
If it involves driving sure, as it's been just over 12 year since I've been on a plane. It's way to much of a hassle and I prefer to choose who sits in my car when I go places.
Not anymore. Until the create a "beam me up, Scotty" technique, I'll stay away from flying as much as possible. Too much of a hassle. And way too expensive.
Very much. (inside the U.S. anyway... and especially in a vehicle. Not much for plane trips)
However I have been to Paris, London, and Amsterdam. Took a plane to London, then the train to the other two and returned via plane - Would do it again, too!
