But they are RL, so that makes them well worth the money, right?
How many will still watch the US in the upcoming Olympics knowing they thought it more improtant to have a "designer" with workers in China, then have a plant in the US make their uniforms?

Look like some sort of prep school uniform. Made in China WTF. Jeans and cowboy hats would have been better. These look like some third world uniform.. or maybe thats what was wanted?

Yes

Ralph Lauren is the designer of this year's uniforms as well as last year's. However, he's been getting a very bad press since the uniforms were made in China. A lot of politicians are now getting into the fray about the fact that they should have been made in the USA. Unfortunately, the Olympiads rely on donations, they have to wear the donated outfits. Until something could be made locally and more cheaply, to be practical, I think they should just wear them. At least the designer is an American, from the Bronx, NY.

i think that they look boring. the beret is OK, but the rest of it looks like a boring RL ad in some magazine. American's are much cooler than this, IMHO.
