When I drink Tea it's usually hot with no (or very little) sugar. Coffee is the same. I find it amazing how many people today don't even know what a good cup of coffee tastes like.
Nope, I also live in a state where sweet tea is the norm and I get a little annoyed when I order non-sweetened tea and end up getting sweet tea by mistake which happens all too often:(
Most of what i drink is tea.
I read an article by Durk Pearson and Sandy Shaw of Life Extension institute about how green tea is probably unmatched in any other food on the planet.
Green tea contains compounds that are antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral, antimutagenic, and anticarcinogenic. Well-controlled clinical trials have shown that green tea can help prevent cancers of the pancreas, colon, small intestine, stomach, breast, and lung.1 No other supplement can make such a claim. There is also evidence that it can help prevent skin cancer,2 and laboratory studies have shown that it induces death in human prostate cancer cells.
What most people don't know is how to get the most potent green tea to drink.
I get 5 water bottles ( like Aquafina, Dasani or Nestlé Waters ), then take out 10 tea bags, two for each water bottle, as one tea bag is really for only 6-8 ounces of water, then put the tea bags in the bottled water the night before and leave the batch out at room temperature overnight to allow certain natural chemical reactions to take place between many different molecules in the tea.
The next mourning I take the tea bags out of the bottles of water and add some "Agave Nectar", which is a sweetner twice as sweet as sugar, but a more fruity sweet than you get wit...

Agave is from the Weber Bule Agave Cactus plant that is all natural and a healthy alternative to processed sugar and artificial sweetners, and it tastes so much better than sugar.
Try it, I think you'll like it, I know I do.
Thai Tea........Ummmmmmm to die for!
