I love diversity ... part of the way I decide if a culture is mature is the way they treat eccentrics ... people are what it is all about ... the more divers the better. I don't trust monocultures ... I love the streets of NYC on a busy day! it is exciting!
I love all people as fellow human beings. When you realise we're all the same and we're all part of the same thing then you can't help but love and empathise with everyone. To love others is to love yourself. People can still annoy me but ultimately I have love and forgiveness for everyone and we should all try to live like that. To me, if you don't like other people in general, how can you like yourself? You are one of those who you dislike, you are 'another' person to everyone else, we are all the same. All forms of hate and anger are pointless, as they all stem from fighting against what is. Just accept what is and feel love and peace with it, and love everyone as different forms of the same thing and don't fight against what you don't understand, just go with it and accept everything. When you are completely at peace with yourself and everything, there is no need to dilike anything or anyone.
I don't have very much patience for people's crap anymore, I don't like the way people usually make me feel, and i hate the kind of person i usually turn into when i'm around people.
Like Davies, a friend of Bertrand Russell, I have "a magnanimous love of mankind and contemptuous dislike of most individuals"...but I'm working on it.
