Do you like horror movies?

Then again, I also do not scare easily and I love anything in horror movies. I can be watching the creepiest or most disturbing thing happen but I will have my eyes glued to the screen, and I can still find soemthing to laugh at. Even if it is nothing near funny. I am in a creative writing class right now, and the setting we were assigned was a speed dating meeting. Our professor said that we could go as crazy and have as much fun with the characters as we wanted. My main character is the most normal one and he will meet three females... 1) A woman majorly into voodoo. 2) A mental institution escapee (I haven't gotten too far into her yet, but I'm trying to think of something really "good" for her). 3) A woman who has pretty much the same personality as Norman Bates. When I told my friend she just looked at me and said "Nell, that's not a short story. That's more of a screwball story."
To make a longer story short, I can get very much into horror and just weird things in movies in general. To the point where I'm laughing or smiling at scenes that make even my closest friends shake their heads or give me a slightly raised eyebrow.

I have know men who come home from the horrors of war and they can not find peace , why deliberatly jam those images into your brain when You know you will face them when you die .

I find most of them to be just plain disturbing. I don't scare easily, but most of them disgust me. Also, most seem to be overly gory and too sexualized and I don't see the point in that. Now, movies like "Predator" or "Alien"? I like those.

They don't really bother me. My sister gets so scared that at the end she's practically sitting on top of me!! lol
