Do you like getting revenge?

I rarely ever bother with it, I prefer instant payback, but sometimes I just do it as a warning, and other times a get a smug little feeling when I pull it off.

When I was a young guy I was very vengeful if I thought I had been wronged by someone. In those days I had a very quick temper-violent to say the least-something I inherited from my Irish Mother.I could handle myself, as we say here in Scotland, meaning that I could more than look after myself in a fight and I often used that ability as revenge on anybody
who I thought had got in my way.
Although I will never be the sort of "turn the other cheek" sort of guy, gradually as the years past I became sickened by my own violence and now unless I had no other alternative BUT to fight I would choose NOT to take revenge on another-neither in a physical sense or in any other way for that matter..

I do not take revenge. I am not like that. I think it will come back three fold on me. I let the universe to deal with them.

If someone wrongs me, I'd much prefer to get a sincere apology from them.

And if they offer one, then revenge wouldn't only be unnecessary -- it would be wrong.

I just prefer it to the alternative.

Revenge is a dish more bitter than sweet. Sometimes you crave it, but once you get it you seldom want it all.

I don't believe in an afterlife or in karma. Good things happen to bad people and bad things to good people. Revenge is destruction for retribution's sake, and accomplishes nothing positive. In the end, everyone loses. Let go and move on.

being nice to your enemies is worse than a slap in their face.

I don't mind waiting till the time is right because eventually circumstances will allow sweet revenge to be gained so easily.
I also pull pranks on friends as they do on me. We're always trying to come up with new ideas and how to get revenge when a prank has worked on us..

I always get them back is some way, even if I forgave them I ended up becoming more successful or proving them wrong, and I mean very wrong. If you want an example I can give you one.
