My version of dressed up might be different than others. I have to wear business casual outfits at work, so don't really like dressing up a lot afterwards or on the weekends. But if I'm going out with the girls, I'll wear something cute, but not over the top.
Sometimes I dress more tomboyish, because I find that style more comfy. And the shoes don't kill my feet :)
I hate formal clothes my mother makes me wear these dress boots that pinch my toes and have really high heels that's what our latest fight was over I don't want to wear my dress boots and she tries to force me to wear them I told her my reasons and she told me that she doesn't care about my reasons and told me to get a job and buy my own dress boots when I can't get a job because of my age
I always do up my eyes, it's so much fun to make combinations of my many colors of eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow ^.^ as for clothes, it's fun to dress up several times a month,
Again, I'm not a girly girl & I like to keep it simple. I don't own many dressy clothes. I feel much more comfortable in my jeans & T's. I will dress up if the occasion arises for it though. But doesn't mean I'll like it :)
I generally 'dress up' all the time. I'm just not a jeans and tshirt kind of person. I feel more comfortable and confident when in things such as dress slacks, suits, and ties.

Getting you glad rags on and putting your face on makes it more of an occasion :-)
