The same goes for 'Planned Obsolesnece' & 'Conspicuous Consumerism'.

The rationale for these concepts is mainly to speed up the spending of money and, in the process, have wealth concentrate to only a few or even a single entity, be it a corporation or person.

Socialism is the opposite (in principle) which would (logically) render everyone impoverished.

Ideally, I would like to see Humanity live in way that is sustainable enough until we have developed the means to travel to other planets before the Sun gets too hot (600 million to 1.2 billion years) prophecies aside, this is the only way Humanity will survive in the Universe (perhaps even after this one collapses back into itself).

I wear for comfort & washability. Have only a couple pieces that need cleaning or pressing.

I don't like that fashion experts tells people how to life their lives, and treats people like kids by saying no no to them.

Most so called fashions these days will never see wear by people other than the famous, and most models would snap in half with a stiff breeze.

To me it's merely a means of marketers to appeal to the needs of most people to belong and/or to look superior in tastefulness. Most people who know me accept that for the sake of efficiency I dress like a homeless person, in my son's hand-me-up military fatigues..

Anorexics are at risk of getting osteoporosis, therefore Christopher's opinion is Valid.

They do not look anorexics. I am started to get offended. My body is similar to those women up there and I am so sick and tired of people telling me that I should eat more, or that I should gain weight. I just happen to be tall and so therefore there's more places for all the weight gained to go around. Those women do not look anorexic but normal.

Not every 'string bean' is (clinically) anorexic & I'm not your doctor.
I assume your Viitals & Electrolytes are fine, unlike those who DO have amennorhea & osteoporosis. The models above do look like a <20 BMI, which (in general) has health risks. Also, you might have a lighter frame. Don't RELY on a single parameter.

Fashion is in a persons blood, in the teens he/she, dose for that age,and after 50 accordingly. Fashion prevails, till death.

fashion is NOT THAT IMPORTANT. As a phenomenon it hasn't even existed for 100 years; I don't mean clothes, I mean people's obsession with clothes that no one will ever wear.
