I definitely don't like being the center of attention, but I have some personality traits that sometimes put me in the center of attention anyway. Then people tell me all I was trying to do was get attention, when I don't want any attention really at all. I'm a person who needs a lot of space, actually.

I don't like being front and center of anything. I was in band and in flag when I was in school. I went to state in the individual flag competition. I made it through my performance and off the stage before I had a panic attack. I couldn't look at people at all while I was preforming, I stare off into space, focus solely on my music or close my eyes. Anything but looking at the audience.
