Do you like being single or being in a relationship?

you got me on that one.... I should have said night of fun or crazy sex or casual sex. As far as Romance goes, in couples dancing I have felt romance and given romance to my dance partner on the dance floor.

your welcome. Last Saturday I danced with some new dancers and one pulled yanked my middle finger out fo joint. The ladies had a great time. Now I know when I was younger ... in the Disco Era, I took advantage of the ladies I danced with and charmed. The sex was fun but it made my world a mess, and I lost some nice girls to it. So I stopped that behavior, lived with some girls, then got married, had childern, got divorced, parented my child, then I've went back to dancing. I enjoy my girlfriend, she was my best friend before we dated. I'm glad I didn't cheat, although it was quite a test and those ladies were very nice. Anyway our dance community the gossip will fly, and if I left with someone, everyone would know.

I wish I had been in a relationship but it just wasn't in the cards for me. Now I'm too old for that nonsense anymore so I just make the best out of what I've got and say I like being single. Either way, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence, far as I'm concerned.

Believe me, I worked really, really hard to get to this point. I figure around about my 50th birthday through, say, my 63rd birthday, I would leap up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, crying because time was running out and I still hadn't had any opportunity to meet eligible males, etc. I felt really, really sorry for myself, no kidding. But at this point in time I don't get the same awful feeling. Thank God! And to all you dumbass men out there: you blew it! I could've made you a contender for real. Hah! So suffer. LOL

Ah, don't worry about me. I've been alone for my entire life and finally gotten used to it. As I said, it's no longer an issue with me. I pretty much enjoy everybody's company whenever I can get it, young, old and in between. But "romance" is not something I bother looking for anymore. Tha'ts just the way it is. But your thoughts and remarks are very much appreciated. And I, too, am sorry that you have had the misfortune to meet with romantic disaster. It's a bummer, I know; been there, done that. Fortunately, though, my experiences always seemed to happen in a small time frame -- zip, zap, done! -- so I didn't waste like 20 years with some guy and then get stomped on. Got a few friends that did, though, and it's pathetic, to say the least.

Oh, well, I agree, I honestly "never say never," but my common sense says don't be foolish enough to dwell on it, it isn't worth it. Right? Right.

Oh, indeed, I plan to. Good response -- sad tale, though. Three-time loser, huh? Well, as I said, I never made it up the aisle but I did get to the planning phase a couple times. Just wasn't in the cards. I figure in my next life I have so many Karma points saved up that I'm going to be the happiest person in the whole wide world and everybody's gonna be jealous. How about that?

i would haver to agree on the being single part because u do have more freedom and u can look at who u want when u want . plus i like freedom lol i dont like having a guy whose always controling of me ugh but ya go out have fun flirt !! enjoy while ur young . thats what im doing
