Did you know 60% of women miscarry at least once in their life?
  • Jo Speedy 2012/08/03 06:15:44
    Jo

Yeah, and 68% of all fertilized eggs are spontaneously aborted,; they usually don't even know they were ever pregnant--it just comes out like a regular period.
  • Speedy Jo 2012/08/03 06:48:56
    Speedy
Yep, you are right... but I think it is more than 68%.

It may be by now. That stat is several years old!

    Speedy
Well, I watched scientific TV show which stat it's over than 85%. Most of the sperm seeds dies on the way to "the promise land". lol

BTW: Did you know the immune system of the body recognize the sperm and a stranger invader and attacking it?

I know that invader thing is true for me because I'm RH negative.
  • Speedy Jo 2012/08/04 04:11:40
    Speedy
It is true to any female. Perhaps, it is stronger reaction to some women than other.
  • Jo Speedy 2012/08/04 04:18:54
    Jo
RH negative is my blood type, and its rare--only 15% of the population is RH, which means that if I conceive, the father would most likely be RH positive--in that situation, my blood will think that the embryo is a foreigner and try to push it out; I have to get a shot every 5 years to combat that.

you're welcome; I think it was a more serious issue back in the 60's, although I'm not sure why its slightly less so now, unless its because they've come up with a way to fight it. Who knows:)

The health industry changed its face. People are living older today, many diseases which caused death in the past have medicine today and people living with it. I believe there is solution which help people to live with it, fight it, and to manage normal life.
