Right so if there's a disaster of some kind i'd never be able to get to it? I have my own safe.. which I keep empty except for some socks and underwear because the first thing stolen is a safe. I have my metals hidden elsewhere.

The only way I would use a home safe would be to have it in concrete and even then you're not completely "safe". ;>)
