With the evidence we have available to us now, of just how tenacious life can be, I feel confident that we will find that the seeds for organic life are spread around pretty broadly. IMO, it is just a matter of finding the right environment on the right planet or moon.

Finding advanced life is a totally different story.

It would be great if they could find a planet that would support human life. This one is getting kind of crowded ! Seriously, our space exploration is now involved in what? How about a little stimulus money around the Cape ? I guess we will wait around until China can finance that for us.

our lack of exploration is a myth. Yeah the shuttle has stopped (but that was deigned years ago) but NASA has several probes out there right now. Voyager 1 is already leaving this solar system as we speak.

I'm familiar, but we hear so little. I was around when the space race was in full swing and sort of miss that kind of excitement. I graduated high school a few weeks before the moonwalk of Armstrong.
