Lately our state has been having these alert days more, since there are 9 wild fires that have not been contained yet.
I'm praying for the fire fighters and for all who lost their homes..

we have those, too. this morning i got behind one of our public handicap buses that was burning oil so terribly...i reported it. i couldn't believe it!

my air conditioner just exploded. i'm not kidding. pop...BOOM! 10 year old window unit.... lucky it happened when it did, though. Dave painted a giant house this past weekend for bunches of cold hard cash.... blech.

we are not today.... suppose to be Friday.... the wind is blowing and it's below ninety today....thank God....I've been outside working on the yard.... the rest can wait....;)

It's 100 right now....they're predicting 106* by 5pm... :/ It's only orange level, and there is a breeze, so it definitely could be worse. I do so worry about the elderly, though.... everyone seems to forget about them...

salad with pecans... if your not allergic.... to nuts... bacon, tomato,onion,......whatever you like...;)
throw it in there...good ole cucumber, radish, carrots.....;)
some ham.... pickles, peppers..... ;)

mix it up!!
