- Pedalpusher 2012/09/15 22:26:35yes+2Everyone one of my friends laughed when I got it, said of all people that don't need one I'm it! They say I know where everything is and how to get there. I don't drink coffee but I always know where there's a Starbuck for the one that's really hooked on them. We don't live in the city either, but I know how to get around it when we get there. But I argued that there are some advantages. A week later I had to run over to the next city at night and I always tell my husband which way I'm going so if I don't show up they know where to start looking. Well when I headed back I told him I was going to come on Kenlworth to Attaway and then Hunt Hwy. Well it was dark and on Kenlworth I was passed by a hot rodding vette and I just knew he was going to end up in the ditch on that narrow road. I didn't have the GPS on, I got so busy watching him that next thing I knew I was curving south and the part I was going didn't have a curve in it! I quickly called hubby and told him change of route I was going Kenlworth to Hwy 79 and home. He started laughing and asked how I missed my turn! Never did see that Vette in the ditch! So next time I was out with the girls I told them why it was a good thing, at least at night I won't miss my turn.reply

- Simeon~thegayliberal 2012/09/15 17:01:08yes+2Yes, but I often use it as a minor guide; I don't trust whole trips to it. And I don't sue the company if it leads me into a ravine... :Preply
- Hidden Noname 2012/09/15 16:33:37yes+2Onstar because I have a new car, and it came with 6 months free... And a Magellan unit which needs to be updated because it always gives the wrong directions. Next one will be Garmin, because they are faster and more accurate.reply

+1LOL. Mine gives confusing directions sometimes. Like keep right, keep right, turn left! Difficult to figure out which lane you need to be in, and by the time you do, you've missed the turn. If I had just read the road signs, I would have been fine.reply - -Kezzi Evanescence- 2012/09/15 14:34:42no+2I don't have a carreply
