Do you have good "gaydar"?

I think my gaydar is pretty good, but let me tell you this story which kinda puts me to shame.

So I'm at a concert, pretty drunk, dancing the night away. I see this beautiful young thing in front of me dancing too, from behind she looked good, real good. Nice curly blond hair, small frame, short shorts, the whole nine yards. Well slowly we worked our way towards each other and do a little bumping and grinding, we still havn't even faced eachother but we were feeling the music and digging eachothers dance moves and so on. Well then the artist on stage says "I want all the lovely ladies in the house to SCREAM!" so I whisper in her ear "That's you baby, that's you"... and then... that's when I find out.

HE turns around, with a big smile, big beard, mustache, everything and says "thanks" and winks at me...

*PUKE*

I don't know what bothered me worse, the fact I didn't even know he was a guy and did all that bumping and grinding with him, or the fact he DID know I was a guy and was okay with what just happened.

So instead of improving my gay-dar I guess I need to work on my "gender-dar" lol.

Actually, my wife is the flawless one! She is always the first to spot them!

I have many gay friends and they same I'm pretty darn good.

Never found the need to develop it, if that is possible. People are people and their sexual
orientation doesn't matter to me.

I know what you are thinking. "A lesbian with no gaydar. How does that even work?" Well I wait for women to come to me of course. ^_^

I've been told if I just get out there and take risks it will help me build up some gaydar of my own. But I'm shy and don't like to make the first move. So I don't and so far I've had three girlfriends in the past two years so doing nothing seems to be working just fine. lol.

So far, I haven't hit on any lesbian women so I would have to say my 'gaydar' is pretty good.

Did you ever hear of this study Mikey? It showed an 80% accuracy in determining someone's sexual orientation from only seeing a black-and-white photo of a persons face for just 50 milliseconds.

Sometimes it's difficult to pick them out. One guy at work had a lisp and was really feminine and I swore he was gay. Then his wife showed up-he was married! Another guy was Mr. Blue collar tough guy....turned out to be a complete flamer.

I don't even think about it any more. One of my friends in another town looked and acted gay but was completely straight. One guy who had a successful business looked completely straight but was gay. I'm to the point I really don't care.

It's not hard for GLB people to tell when someone else is gay... Because I'm bisexual, and my girlfriend likes use her gaydar often and point out when she thinks other people are gay, I'd say mine has developed quite well hahaha but I don't usually like to assume that people are unless it's obvious.

Well I wouldn't say it's flawless persay...

But every so often it goes on strike.Or the Damn thing goes on strike. But most of the time it's right on. When I was young I was influenced by my father but I overtime I learned that hey their people just like everyone else and had the same problems as we all do and we need to to treat every one equal.

Pretty good. I have better gaydar radar though, I can always tell who's guessed about my sexuality...

All have all the above,flawless,, as well sometimes take more or less time in knowing things. But all feel that they always flawless..............

For the most part I really don't care. In order for someone to set off the gaydar, they have to make it obvious. That's not necessarily unusual these days.

Yes, usually. It doesn't matter to me when building relationships, but I can usually tell before they tell me themselves.

Maybe it's because I don't care what people do with the contents of their trousers!
