I have 2 Silver dollars that are as big as my hand, a Convict Cichlid-(she is a very mean little fish!!) and a big crawdad.

I had these and more years ago but gave it up, saltwater fish were to expensive plus all the tank maintenance I had to do.

as they get bigger they become a little aggressive...she leaves the other fish alone but when comes time to clean the bowl all hell breaks loose...maybe its just my luck..i also got a ball python and they are supposed to very docile but i have several places on my hand were she nailed me ...talk about biting the hand that feeds you...jjjjeeeeeezzzzze

Pangasius Catfish...his name is Lucky, we have had him two years. He got his name because the place we bought him from burned down three days later. All the other fish were killed so he was Lucky. I love catfish, they have interesting personalities. Not actually a picture of him but, anyhow...check how large his bred gets in the wild!

Hermit crabs ARE such cute creatures, and just like anything else can be tame through handling. My son had one name Hermes when he was 10 that was so tame he would almost climb almost all the way out is shell when he held him. I don't think it ever pinched my son once because he was gentle with it.

I used to have gorgeous guppies but they'd always die on me whenever I'd travel and leave someone to care for them. Between having two cats and a dog having fish is just too much for me. I do miss having them though. They're therapeutic.

But my office sent a Beta to my mom when she was sick before she died in January. The fish is fun so I just bought one for my sister who lives with my Dad. The first one was named Target, so this one is named Wal*Mart.

We used to have 3 fish. Their names were Nick, Joe, and Kevin. They were Betas and my dad was being brilliant and put them together. Joe and Kevin attacked Nick so I gave him to my bff. Then soon after Joe and Kevin died. And Nick died not to long ago. I miss those little guys. :(
