i have carpet lol thankfully. sometimes i get home late and when i walk in i don't have to worry about being loud because i don't have to creep on creaky wood floors lol.
Just replaced all the carpet with hardwood which looks much better and does not make
the tiled areas look out of place. The kitchen, bathrooms, entry, playroom, and hall are
tiled while the living rooms and bedrooms are wood. Like it much better now.
We just moved into this house a few months ago, right now it has laminate and linoleum, the floors are the last thing on our remodel list so Im still trying to decide what kind of flooring I want where, so far Im leaning toward carpet in most of the house and cork in the kitchen and some kind of tile in the bathroom. I want flooring I dont have to baby and from what Ive read and heard from a lot of people that have it, hardwood has to be babied.
We have carpet and I absolutely HATE IT with a passion. I"d rather have good hardwood floors anyday. When we lived in Ma. we had hardwood floors throughout the house. So much easier to care for and so beautiful to see.
