Do you have an Internet persona or do you act like you would off the Internet?

The River Rat 2012/07/08 01:45:37I have a persona...+6I am MUCH more of an extrovert here than I am in real life. I am also much more likely to divulge infowmation than I would ever be in real life. I am here like I wish I could be in real life.

In real life I have aspergers syndrome. I'm not retarded or anything, but I hate even making eye contact, let alone talking to people. I've actually been told by my psychologist I am selectively mute.. I rarely even say hi unless It's My Very close friends or Family members. I'm insightful and understanding of others, but too quiet for people to realize it. :/
But on here I'm hyper as &!@*!. and I talk a lot and I'm very clear on my opinions and Sometimes even a bit BRUTALLY honest.. A lot of people would never guess how shy I am in real life. }:-)
voted for 0bama....... I often wonder how they feel about "wonderboy" now, but
I don't ask.
I suppose I am more confident when on the internet in the way I present myself but I don't say anything to someone online that I am not prepared to say to their face.
Here you've proposed 60% people may have "posed" as more tolerant on this issue online than in real life. What are you basing this figure on: random survey results, comparing online behavior and offline behavior of your specific circle of contacts, or self-reflection?
I'm who I am ..
the same on-line and in real life ..
anything else would be too tiring!
do you feel that, if you were to talk to everyone offline the same way as you do online right now, that would make you a better person or not?
I also sound a lot more coherent and I'm less awkward on the Interent because I have more time to think of a response instead of having to say it in person.
