I guess I could call her a special person in my life after all I still look at her and get goose bumps all over me.
I look at her and my heart melts with pride and joy.
I look at her and I am humbled by her beauty.
I look at her and have a hard time looking away.
I look at her and wonder why I was so fortunate to be the one with her.
I look at her and understand the responsibility and privilege I have of taking care of her and growing with her.
And if that isn't finding someone special while having been with her for more than thirty years than I don't know what is.

I actually have four other special some ones, three daughters and a grand daughter that is so cute you just can't help but loving her to death. I'm a lucky man. Thanks for opening up such great feelings. We have been married for twenty nine years but been together for more than thirty. I am looking for a special place to take her next year to celebrate our thirtieth. I am looking for a romantic place some where mystical. I'm open for suggestion, we travel a lot so distance isn't an issue.

Thanks, we make great travel buddies and love to explore the back roads. Last year we spent a month in Brazil. Flew to Sao Paulo took a bus to Rio and from there went by bus to see the Iguazu falls, stayed in a historic coastal town on the southern shores and discovered everything we could find in between. We heard of a restaurant on a small Island and found a boat to take us to the port which then directed us to a small shuttle to the island. It was so worth it with amazing typical catch of the day meals and salsas to die for. We were served on the beach surrounded by boulders offering privacy from other local patrons. That's what we look for when we travel.
Google Iguazu falls to see how amazing that is, the correct spelling is Iguacu.
We saw the falls from two differant countries Brazil and Argentina and went through three countries to get to the other side.

My philosophy, live modestly to explore grandiosely. Not sure how old you are but it is never too late to save and travel. We have sacrificed at times to make certain trips possible but have never regretted those decisions. We have also been fortunate to send our girls to far away places for studies and new experiences.It has been fun talking to you. Nothing wrong with traveling in the US after all people come here from all over the world to see this amazing country.

And how awesome for your own folks! My spouses aunt and uncle are just shy of SEVENTY YEARS. Would you believe they still live in their own home, take care of themselves and get "annoyed" with their kids when they feel they're checking up on them too much? They are an absolute hoot.

That is awesome! I never heard my folks ever raise their voice to one another. They used their sense of humor to get through the tough times. I admire them so much.

Yes, I agree. They are a wonderful example to not only their kids, but to the extended family as well Come to think of it, I have never in all of the years I've been in that family, ever heard even one cross word between them. What is ironic too, is that in their own immediate large family (six children), not one of them are divorced, separated or in a difficult marriage in their own right. There is something to be said about "good examples".
