I prefer a book that doesn't require a battery to be read. I like the smell of libraries and the tactile pleasure of carefully turning timeworn pages and not having to worry about being close enough to the outlet for a cord to reach or having to stop because it needs charged.
I was opposed to them at first because I love getting a fresh book. It's come to the time though that I would really like one for the following reasons:
1. I read 1-3 books per week -- downloading them would be faster and I'd never run out of books.
2. Dictionary. You can click on a word and get the definition instantly.
3. No one would have to know what I was reading. In some cases, for me, it would be preferable. Had to use my daughter's book cover in order to read the 50-Shades Trilogy!
I've had it for a year and a half now. It's great for some things like traveling having a dictionary right with the book and not so good for other things like flipping around.
No, nor do I want one. I am a book lover. While I understand that some people find them convenient, I consider them an abomination. They do not have the ambiance or "soul" that a book does.
Just a regular 3G, not a Fire. I only have as much as I need. But I just yesterday downloaded (bought) a book on it that a friend of mine wrote, and so far it's fabulous!
