I have lots : (
Here is a quick one to make you all smile , not quite horror only for me .
We were in Egypt and decided to take our children on camels ( Never Again) . My 5 year old was on the same camel as me . I was sitting in the saddle and she sat in front of it tied to me with a head scarf ( do the egyptians not know health and safety)
I was holding on to her for dear life as well as trying to stay on the camel myself because if i fell off i would of took her with me as she was tied to me.
A child was leading our camel through the desert ( he was about 7 years old)
A stray camel was up ahead , as we got closer to it , it became scatty and ran , my camel then followed it jumping and leaping and running sidewards pulling the little boy through the sand (camels run as fast as horses). Myself and my daughter were screaming (i was also swearing like a fish wife)The camel jumped and ran and we were holding on for our lives. The camel did stop ... If i live to be 1000 i will never go on one again .
Question Living
Do you have a horror vacation story?

I did learn one interesting thing... it's very interesting clearing Customs at 3 am. (Smuggling anything? No. Wonderful - luggage will eventually show up over there - good luck.)
HOWEVER, we've had 45 cm of snow in the past 24 hours and that's not even a record for the year so far... I'm kinda at the point when I'd strap myself to the friggin' *wing* to get someplace warm.

We were LIVID....the head of securtity came up to our room and apologized profusely...it was a mess...so we stayed there that night, but changed hotels the next night.
We ordered room service at the new hotel, and the room service guy, didn't knock, nothing, just walked right in....I sleep naked....it was not a good weekend! LOL
