Do you give money to beggars that approach you in the street.

When I visit Chicago there are a million beggars and I tend to give them a dollar here and there. I break a ten into singles before I leave the hotel, because I know that there will be many beggars, I make it a point to mostly give women that ask rather then men but give men a buck occasionaly as well.

+1A friend of mine gave one of them a sandwich and they guy got mad and tried to attack him, my friend had to unfortunately punch him out.reply

But if there is an obvious reason as to why they don't have a job, for example, this lady by my house has half of her face burned off, or they are missing a leg/arm or something, then I will give them some money.reply
