I've been in Oklahoma for almost 12 years now. This is the first year I had trick or treaters and I ran out of candy. Had to start giving out quarters.

I never get trick or treaters.I live on a dead end road up a big hill.People don't even like to drive up in daylight.

Very few... They mostly consist of our 10 year old and his friends. We live on a cul de sac in a wooded area.

We get kids from other neighborhoods brought in via their parents, not really "bused in", but that is what we call it down here.

I live in a basement right now, so I imagine they'll try the upstairs, not back here. lol And since no one lives up there right now, I don't think they'll be getting any.

We don't get them, but it's just as well. It seems there are half a dozen child predators within a couple of blocks of here.

Nope..............never have got any trick or treaters, and can't say I miss it either.
last time i lived someplace where I did, I got grown adults and older high school kids coming to beg for free candy.
Halloween is for the little kids under 13 years old!

Adults don't go out and trick or treat on Halloween, they have their own parties at bars and night clubs...............and are a whole lot more fun, Lol!!!!

..I don't, for the opposite reason; I live on a rarely travelled cul-de-sac road out in the country. I haven't had a trick-or-treater in the 12 years I've owned this place..

this will be the first house in many years that i probably won't get any trick or treaters.
i live deep in a housing development and on a cul de sac. don't think there are any children that live near me... and nobody on my street has decorations other than me.

so to not lose out on the fun of all the kiddos in their adorable costumes, today i'm going to a friends house to help pass out candy!!!

Where I am now I don't. When my Mom was alive many would come to her house. We'd kind of make a party out of it. She'd cook a meal early and make homemade spiked hot cider. We'd all dress up a tad in scary makes and take turns passing out treats and different friends would drop by.

We are not connected to a subdivision, but close to several. It does not make much trick or treat sense to jump in a car drive around the corner and hit one house.
