I signed up for several email reading sites. They send me emails, I read the emails and get points for doing so. I can cash in the points for gift cards and whatnot. I used to use a few paid to click sites, but it became rather tedious and time consuming with not a large enough payout for time invested.
I don't make bundles of cash, but I get enough to buy a few songs on iTunes or go out to dinner, plus reading the emails gives me something to do while I'm waiting to pick up my daughter from one of her many school clubs.
You can create businesses on Twitter.com I know for sure - but you have to work your way up the Twitter Ladder. Building a fan-base of your own - people who will like you mainly off of your content that you post!! And eventually, you can create your own business doing whatever you like! For example.. I have over 4,000 followers and I get paid to promote other tweeties to gain MORE followers!

I make about 5 bucks per hour of work. Not much, but not bad to make a bit of extra money on the side.
ALthough it is possible to make even more, you just have to work alot or luck out and find a high paying assignment.
