I got really sick 2 times in one year...ever since I started getting flu shots, which has been about 6 years now...I think I have been sick only 2 times :) They really do help with most viruses out there!!!

I got the shot twice and ended up with the flu twice. All the years I didn't get the shot, I didn't get the flu. I did the math.

NO. In Britain its for the over 60's. Obviously the jabs are free but they are the most vulnerable groups.

I have asthma, and got the flu and was one miserable human being. Have gotten a flu shot every year since, and have been healthier for it.

Nope not since I terminated all the monitoring lines at the CDC and some of the offices throughout the USA; no way... same with anything with multiple applications... If you puncture yourself with something that might give you tetanus, then just get that shot and nothing more!

My dad makes me. Which reminds me, I am getting mine this weekend... But I don't mind too much, I hate needles, but as long as I have my iPod to distract me, it isn't too bad. I've never had bad reactions to the flu shot and I've never had the flu, so it isn't that big of a deal getting it. When I was younger on the other hand...

Thanks. My friend thinks that Im going overboard (you should see the cleaning supplys), but Im a senior this year, and if my daughter gets sick, I really cant afford to stay home from school. I go when Im sick.
