Do you get Charley Horses often?

My leg still hurts so bad from one I got in the middle of the night.

Not since I had my knee replaced...but did often before that. I would lay on my back, bend my knee as far as I could and press down as hard as I can on the bed. That almost always stopped it. Good luck, they are painful.

No, I don't get them often....but I do get them. Awful pain, terrible way to wake up. Mention it to your physician, SJ....they can be caused (as in my case) in lowered levels of potassium and magnesium. There are a number of other causes, but it's best you talk to your Doc. Heat and massage will help immensely!
