Do you feel that Christianity is the most peaceful religion? If so did you know that two of the most peaceful characters in history Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr were influenced to be peaceful by Jainism and not by Christianity ?

Here is an article telling about Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. and their being influenced by Christianity..

Here is a quote from Author Sam Harris from his book "Letter To A Christian Nation"..
“If you think that it would be impossible to improve upon the Ten
Commandments as a statement of morality, you really owe it to yourself
to read some other scriptures. Once again, we need look no further than
the Jains: Mahavira, the Jain patriarch, surpassed the morality of the
Bible with a single sentence: "Do not injure, abuse, oppress, enslave,
insult, torment, torture, or kill any creature or living being."
Imagine how different our world might be if the Bible contained this as
its central precept. Christians have abused, oppressed, enslaved,
insulted, tormented, tortured, and killed people in the name of God for
centuries, on the basis of a theologically defensible reading of the
Bible.

There is nothing peaceful about christianity. There are some christians who use christianity to be great people - and they do that by ignoring large tracts of their scriptures. That is true of any of the three abrahamic religions. There are great people in all of them, but taken literally, or in the hands of fundamentalists, they are all quite evil and violent.
Now if we go back a few centuries, you can find heinous acts being perpetrated by those espousing Chrsitinaity - back when Odin's followers where cutting off heads, Thuggies ran around strangling people in mass, and the followers of Shinto still gutted themselves for shaming the family.
But, not in recent – oh, give or take a hundred years or so – have Christians been at the for front of the slaughter of inncoents. Once again, that would be once again the Islamist of the world.
If you ever do get the chance, though, do go, as it really is an...invigorating... as well as a beautiful country, and the wine and food are terrific.
Hope you do get to go. You will like it I'm sure.
Crazy dictators that simply destroy religion only to replace one God with another (themselves), do not count.
Let's look at naturally occurring atheism.
2) Ditto
Not only is atheism not a religion (unless the term has lost all meaning, forcing us to come up with a different term for those that truly believe, using utter faith, in supernatural dogmas), but naturally occurring atheism has been shown to be a force for peace.... as the video alluded. Quite clearly.
Fingers in your ears? You are now obviously being purposefully obtuse, like a child.
Suggesting that Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, etc... killed people in the name of spreading atheism would make you an historical nitwit. A Christian apologist. These crazy dictators killed the name of power alone. They destroyed ALL power structures in their way, including religion. They then simply replaced one religion with another, a worship of themselves. Even down to claiming deity status and performing "miracles" in many cases. Crazy dictators are just that: Crazy dictators. Pinning their atrocities on atheism simply because they were not Christians is childish lunacy. Obviously.
However, where atheism is allowed to flourish naturally, peace is soon to follow. So, this idea that atheism produces hedonism and debauchery are quite clearly, false. The exact opposite occurs and we have plenty of data to show this.
Anything else?
