Do you favor or oppose Hot Cross Buns? There are some Conservatives who object to the Oreo Gay Pride cookies but Hot Cross Buns also demonstrate diversity and tolerance. These buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday and sold in every supermarket.

I love hot cross buns, and look forward to when my supermarket has them. As for the cross, if you don't like it, you can always lick it off. lol

Good grief ... my grandma used to make them all the time, and this is the first time I ever heard of any religious symbolism. They are sooo tasty, especially fresh from the oven.

Hot cross buns are hot cross buns. They're food and they taste nice. That's my opinion.

I like Hot Cross Buns but I couldn't care less about any religious symbolism that's attached. To me, its just a foodstuff that's meant to be eaten

    But that's mostly the taste.
The religious connotations annoy me - mostly because I have to listen to people complaining they're hard to find the rest of the year... (Even though they are not)
