Most of us do our best to follow the rules when we're on the road, but life happens. Maybe you were running late to a meeting, risked going a few miles per hour over the speed limit, and got caught; maybe you didn't realize there was a "No Right on Red" sign and went for it, even though you know there was a police car right behind you. Even talking on your phone can get you in trouble in most states.

No I don't. I pay attention to the road so somebody on their cell phone doesn't hit me.

have hands free chevy truck. push button say name , rings. BUT. always pull off road , if conversation is over 1 min.

i hate the damn thing when it rings while am in traffic or stormin its butt off.
but i see many many on the road , who dont practice safe driving.

I do not. Certainly not texting. There have been times where someone calls that I need to talk to briefly and we hang up, but even that is extremely rare. And I never do it on the highway, at death speeds.

Not *as* a phone. As a navigation aid, perhaps. Especially to a new address. And even if I did use it as a phone, I have it mounted on a hands-free stand and would turn on the speakers. And NO TEXTING. (Or should I express that as NO TXTNG?) I can't possibly text and drive. No way.

Yep. My vehicle has built-in Bluetooth hands-free, with call-handling controls on the steering wheel or dash. It's no more distracting for me than listening to music. No texting.

Yes, on speakerphone, on the holder, on the dashboard. If it's important--as in-a long call--I just pull over. It isn't worth a wreck.

I carry a cell phone in my car to be used only if I need AAA to check out why my car needs
attention. I hate phones since my job for over 50 years meant using a phone every day.
Also, I do not enjoy just chatting on the phone. In other words, I am not a cell phone
fanatic and will never, therefore, be stopped by a cop for using one while driving.

That's a half lie, depending on who texted me, upon occasion I will try and send a quick text at a red light.
Sometimes I use speech to text too instead of actually texting.
I never text and drive though.

Sence I have no car or a permit for that matter I just ride my bike.

As a matter of fact, my brother got angry that I didn't answer my phone until I was 'off' the road. I explained I was 'driving ... he was 'still' ANGRY.

Yes.... and I do it as sparingly as possible... anyone who answered no this question, either has no car, has no mobile phone... or is a liar. Using it to navigate or checking it at a stop light is still cellphone driving. Just because you aren't texting your BFF Jill doing 80 mph in standstill traffic doesn't mean you don't CellPhone Drive AT ALL.. C'mon.... C'mon... admit you have maybe, at some point in the extremely distant past, operated both your cellphone and vehicle... just admit it... you lose nothing.
