Not only have I never done it- ever in my life- I have spent half a lifetime picking up garbage from the streets, have organized cleanup- and actually have probably come pretty close to getting nyself shot for walking up to people when I see them do it and telling them to stop it and clean it up.

When people litter, they should be told. You do the right thing. Most people who constantly throw cups, cans, gum, wrappings from fast food, etc. on the ground, also have dirty homes. Telling them not to litter is like talking to a cockroach.

I'm going to get shot one of these days!

The people who throw trash out on our beautiful roads have no morals to them! We keep 8 miles of our county road clean and every 3 weeks we get a 33 gallon can of trash. How sad. They don't want it in their car, but they don't give a crap about the roads they live or drive on how they look!

I am stopping that today.It is usually food scraps like chicken bones,skin, bottom of hamburgers. I live near a city with casinos and when I eat there, it's usually too much for me. I keep peanuts,bread,cat food for the stray animals and some times if I have leftover food (a day or two) ,I'll leave it at the bus stop or on a ledge.I never give food to people
directly.I sometimes eat at he food pantries but they serve leftover food from restaurants or parties and it can be rancid. Esp salads,meats, cookies,(soft and stale) other pastries. I have spoken to servers about that but the dissmiss it as "you should be grateful."Well,I don't
have to eat from them,I'm just CHEAP AND PROUD OF IT.!but for the others that are homeless or whatever, they(food pantries) could at least give people fresh food. Mst men just throw it out anyway. They know the difference.

Its bad enough that I have to drive around in a car to get places. The least I could do is keep my refuse to myself.

Um well I'm not that zealous about the not so fragile environment...but I don't like trash on the side of the road...or anywhere but a trash can really.

Never a good thing to do. Save it until you get home or can find a garbage can. And if it can be recycled, please do not throw it in the trash.

I don't ever, but I do see others do it, and it literally pisses me off!!!! Especially smokers!!! I've seen so many of these damn cigarette butts on the ground EVERYWHERE!!! Please stop! That's why there are ash trays in the car.

Absolutely not- and really don't understand people who do- or people who throw things on the sidewalk- in parks- on the beach etc. It is such a small thing to dispose of garbage properly- I wonder how much it costs us yearly to clean up after people who are just to lazy to clean up after themselves?
